COVID-19 Shopping

I will use this page to post Links for items that I have purchased specifically address COVID-19 in my office. I’m not an expert on any of this, but these are the deals I’ve found one what appear to be solid equipment. A few items like (IR Temperature Sensor and BP Cuff) are not the ones I purchased, as those are no longer available. Sorry. No promises of efficacy.

Air Purifiers

Small:

Six in total. One in each Operatory.

Medium:

Two in total. Laboratory and patient Walkway

Large:

Two in total. Waiting room and Break room.

Dual Washer and Dryer:

Hard to find the space required for 2 separate units. The stackable units typically have a space limiting agitator if top-load or are front load. My experience with front load is that they mildew too much. This is front load, but since it’s also a dryer, my HOPE is that stagnant water will not be an issue.

Sneeze Guards:

No Amazon link, here. But, this seems to fit the bill with lots of size options.

Flip-Up Face Shield:

This faceshield was created and shared on Thingiverse by HanochH.

Transparency Sheets:

This will be used in face-shields to protect against direct liquid splatter and prolong the life of our facemasks.

MaskFrame:

This is used to create an improved seal of the traditional Level 2 or 3 Surgical mask. Ideally, further helping it to be as effective as an N95.

X-Frame - Version 2.0
$22.00

I’m currently using the X-Frame as a means of securing my MaskFrame straps to the back of my head. The critical feature is that it keeps the straps from crossing my ears and keeps tension both high and low. This keeps my mask comfortable and secure.

X-Frame:

This is used to secure the MaskFrame or other mask while properly distributing force.

Large 8” Rubber Bands:

I have found these to work well for both the FaceShields and MaskFrames.

Metal Button Installation Kit:

This kit comes with 6 sets and the tools required to attach them do your cap and X-Frame. All you need is a hammer.
